We’re running dofollow on a time out for non registered guests, and the nofollow is removed immediately for registered visitors.
Nofollow is just rude really isnt it? if people can be bothered to contribute, it’s the least you can do (genuine comments only of course, spammers will be deleted and may be subjected to public ridicule) to pass some juice back to them for it.
As its a brand new blog we dont expect to be targeted very heavily yet, it’ll be 3 to 6 months before it becomes attractive to them, and any links left here now start to get really strong

hmm. thanks Jonathon. flattery will get you nearly everywhere..
if we hadn’t come under attack by blackhat comment spammers today (197 & counting) I might have taken this at face value and left the dofollow on..
as it is we will need a little more confirmation you are real and not a bot..
suppose we’ll see if you see this and come back again eh?
