..These were both target terms that although desirable for us on the startup of our new site up in mid Oct 07, we had assumed that along with most of the 2-word SEO terms would be fairly difficult to obtain good rankings for, and would at least require some effort.

So we’ve been pretty surprised at how well our SEO Packages page has always performed (although in the last few days it has dropped away suddenly by about 6 pages from it’s previous #6-12 average placement) because we just havent tried at all for it, hardly a link from anywhere.

We have been busy concentrating on the “glory” terms SEO Demonstration, SEO Demo, SERP Domination, those kinds of things, but have blogged about the power of analytics before, in highlighting areas you may not have otherwise thought about so much.

This week’s surprise winner was ” Onsite SEO ”

..which again we can only really put down to us “hottening” the site up for other SEO related terms but apart from our previous blogger blogroll we have actually not linked inbound to this page at all.

And once again our American cousins with their sometimes strange use of the ” symbol are still managing to find us, as recreated in the screenshot below. ..Long live inappropriate use of quotation marks
