Google Pagerank Update Starts 24 July 08

The ever heightening fever about impending PR updates was increased more today by Google themselves, Matt Cutts took the (lately) unusual step of announcing that there is an export due “in a few days” on his blog.  http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/

This of course always calms the mood of the SEO world.

“..oh well, that’s ok then, its definitely coming, we can all forget about when and relax now then..” ;)

It probably does mean that at least we have just one mega thread on Digitalpoint now instead of the tiresome 3 per day being started on the subject..

We’re mainly wondering if some of the more suspicious pagerank scores from the last time round will be corrected, or if our good friend Ms Brockhurst of kdotonline.com really has been awarded a PR5 with no backlinks to speak of, just for such a good effort on building her first site on a Wysiwyg Mac system :)

Otherwise, as we all know, Toolbar PR is not what matters, it’s the Real PR we’d like to know more about…

Edit: If anyone wants to check their new toolbarPR during the rollout, this is the place to do it..

..Knocked up by one of the SEO top dogs on Digitalpoint Mr Sweetfunny from Taree Internet, Australia to satisfy the clamouring masses wanting to know their new readings.

Its not a predictor, its reading new PR readings from the first datacenter. Enjoy..
