SEO Demonstration Ends – 1 Year Old Today

So it’s finally here, it’s our main site’s much talked about 1 year old birthday today, (this blog only came online in March) and an excuse to party if ever we needed one.

So it’s now time to assess exactly how successful we’ve been at our goals of muscling our way into the Global (Google.com) SEO related searches in a one year time period.

It’s hard to believe it was a year ago today that we threw the first version of this site up, a basic HTML template designed with only one thing in mind, to go straight in at #1 for SEO Ibiza and SEO in Ibiza.

It looked a lot different back then, but it accomplished that in 3 weeks.

In that time we have:

Rebuilt and continually evolved the site and integrated a blog

Found (90% networking and word of mouth) engaged with, and worked on 30+ (paying) client websites, with some great companies (plus 15 or so freebies, charity cases and / or mates – the 2 are not mutually exclusive   )

and we’ve turned down nearly as many again, for one reason or another, plus gotten our own site firmly showing up in the top 20 for SEO itself, for the moment at least.

We’ve made some awesome seo friends, some fantastic alliances, and gotten well and truly involved in the world of media SEO

We’ve taken on consultancy clients, conducted seo training, advised, built, launched and grown market leading travel blogs, launched (4 weeks ago, and sold 5 already) of our own small business seo web design packages, the SBS sniper.

And, most importantly, in full accordance with our ethos and directives, with the help of a very special team of people (including seo spec ops) and our customers, have mostly had a right old laugh doing so.

We will be fully updating and re-writing the seo demonstration page shortly to reflect current status, and then leaving it as a case study of SEO in action, in the SEO searches   ..in the meantime may we present the screenshot below as exhibit A  (click it)

As you can probably imagine we are quite proud to see our site nestling on that second page #18 today for “SEO”, up there alongside all our heroes, and you can see the kind of keyword search hits we’re getting from Google in Woopra on the right, some good global terms coming up  now.

And, another mention to our old friend Superior SEO Services who is up to it’s old tricks again today, this time over in Malta, where at 13.30PM this afternoon it was at #7 for SEO services again, there’s no stopping that lad, (2nd screenshot) with a performance well above and beyond the call of duty.

So in the last 3 weeks this heroic (comedic) page has been seen Google dancing for our amusement (mostly gl=us) at:

• #4 for SEO services

• #5 for Superior

As well as plumbing the depths, and was recently spotted in Russia all the way down in the #800′s (Woopra again) screenshot below.

So now the time has finally come to down tools on our own site and self promotional efforts, and set her free out into the big wide world.
