Google performed yet another pagerank update, adjustment, burp, blip, tweak, call it what you will, last night, affecting mainly internal pages that we can see. About 5 of our main site’s long standing inner pages went from greyed out to PR4 since yesterday.

Of interest to us mainly in that an experiment, mentioned here whereby we renamed, and redirected the previous “seo-links” page (that has always been greyed out) has paid off and the page was finally deemed acceptable by Google, once it was called “seo-resources” instead.

There’s no reason it should be greyed out, although it is basically a list of links, it was always a genuine editorial endorsement of all the best blogs, forums and seo resources on the web (in our opinion of course) never about link exchange or anything like that.

It’s good that the recipients can now finally see the value of those links

..we knew it because the page is floating around the #50-#60 mark for “seo resources” which means it has some (real) pagerank, and is therefore a relevant link to any seo resources it links to.

Anyone else notice anything much?
